I have a 98.92% attendance record at council meetings since 2019, including my committee meetings! :-)
I will continue to be the strong, independent voice for change and progress. As the “Change Agent” Herndon needs, I am focused on ensuring long-term fiscal stability for our residents.
I will pursue new strategies and policies to position Herndon as a “next generation” small town.
The Town of Herndon has experienced, and will continue to experience, rapid change; our town institutions must adapt quickly to ensure our long-term fiscal viability. I will continue to be the “Disruptor” of things that do not make sense. I am a dedicated advocate for change and progress.
I am a former Chair of the Fairfax County Democratic Committee (FCDC), but I have always put my values above personal relationships. Sometimes, people look the other way when friends do not do the right thing. I call it out! I stand up for our town's shared values, so, once again, I am running for a seat on the Herndon Town Council. As a candidate committed to democratic values, I believe in promoting and establishing inclusive policies that always consider the needs of all residents, ensuring equitable opportunities for inclusion, growth, and development. I fully support a town where possibilities in society are open to everyone, and where no individuals or communities are marginalized or subject to false stereotypes, discrimination, or hostility because of race, religion or other personal choices. I will represent the residents of the Town of Herndon and promote our shared values.
